Optei por um aparelho "refurbished", com 90 dias de garantia nos EUA. Até o momento não descobri qual era o problema.
Prós: Estética, várias funções, facilidade no uso (muito intuitivo), identificador de chamadas que "fala" (anunciando pelo número que chama ou o nome gravado na agenda), visor grande, teclado luminoso, itens gravados (agenda, chamadas efetuadas, recebidas e perdidas, despertador, etc) ficam disponíveis para base e ramais automaticamente, alimentação com pilhas AAA (na hora da reposição fica fácil encontrá-las), pode ser preso na parede, ganchos nos monofones para levá-los na cintura, longo alcance (desde que não haja muitos obstáculos) e qualidade do som.
Contra: as fontes não são bivoltes (disponíveis somente 110 V; para ligá-las no 220 V é necessário um adaptador de aproximadamente R$ 10,00).

I bought this unit from Amazon, right out of the box, without even reading the manual, instructions are simple by just looking at the on-screen menu, it has good range for a medium-sized house, sound quality is excellent, so is the built quality, kids and I accidentally dropped the handsets a few time on wooden floor:(, still ticking as new:). The answering machine does its function properly without any gimmicks, all in all, I have nothing negative to say about this Panasonic unit, a great buy for the $$!!

However, there is a but in this. The phone is good, has some great features which I do enjoy but ease of use is a little difficult, and I think I'm a pretty savvy tech person. I know some people like the little joystick on the phone, but I would have been happier with just a button. The biggest complaint would be the sound when talking. It's O.K. but not great. I do like the speakerphone, and the answering machine is definitely loud enough. Also, I think the battery is a little short compared to my last phone which was only a 2.4 Ghz. I do realize that you many times can't find all the features you want, so you have to take the not so good with the great. Overall I would recommend this phone.

We replaced our old panasonic phones that served well for us for more than several years. We love the new phones! Sleek looking. Clear sound. Light weighted. Large, easy-to-read display. Intuitive. And the price is right. Panasonic phones are THE best.
