I liked the corded/cordless option and the ability to add to the phone lines. Like the sound quiality and the phonebook option makes it quick to dial often used numbers. My only problem so far is the incoming ring choices. I would have preferred a more regular sounding ring

The Panasonic Dect 6.0 Metallic Gray Cordless/Corded Phone with Answering Machine (KX-TG1062M) is a great phone. Easy setup, and wonderful sound, clear and solid, the volume is great, I use it at the middle setting. The caller ID feature is better than my previous phone. This is a awesome phone, answering machine, satellite phone especially at this price.
The minor issue is the handset cord for the corded phone is short. It's an easy thing to correct and did not affect my rating.

I bought this phone system about 2 months ago. The main reason I bought it was that I wanted to be able to use the phone, even if my power went out.
The sound quality is superior, as is the overall feel of receivers.
I really like the feature where you can add contacts to one receiver, and then copy to the base phone and/or the other extension too.
Also, before I bought this phone, I read a review here at Amazon that said you couldn't record your own answering machine message with this system. That is incorrect. You have a choice of using the 'built in recording' or recording your own. (user manual walks you right through it.)
The user's manual is well written and easy to follow.
So far, this phone system is outstanding! I got what I wanted and then some!

Set of two wireless units plus 1 wired phone on base (handy if your power goes out as much as ours does); we had three wireless units previously, but we don't seem to miss having one less. Sound quality is either just OK or maybe I'm mumbling when I talk to people, because I'm asked to repeat myself if I'm not talking loudly into the phone. Range is good, units are plastic (as always), don't use answering machine function (hard to get a wired unit/set without one).

We're very happy with this phone system. Voice clarity is excellent as well as portability and range. The only feature I would improve on is to have the face of the satillite phones blink when there is a incoming message left on the machine. There's a small blinker on the top of the phone but it's really hard to see. Other than that, we're very satisfied.
